As an executive function coach, I specialize in helping middle school, high school, and college students who struggle with a wide range of learning differences.
My goal is to help students feel organized, empowered, and capable of managing both their academic and personal lives.
Additionally, I support families of young adults who are struggling to transition into adulthood by providing guidance for setting healthy boundaries and fostering independence.

Starting our Sessions
Throughout our coaching, I focus on building essential skills such as time management, task prioritization, and study routines. I also monitor progress and make necessary adjustments to strategies, offering recommendations for assistive technology and apps to support executive function.

Continued Support
Clients receive ongoing guidance for balancing their academic workloads with personal life and creating assignment schedules. Packages also include scheduled virtual check-ins to discuss progress and accountability. Continued support through email and text is available for brief questions or clarifications; more in-depth discussions will require a scheduled session.

PLANTING THE SEEDS
Each week, clients benefit from dedicated work that includes personalized planning, resource development, progress review, and strategy adjustment to ensure continuous improvement and tailored support.
Weekly Check-ins: One 50-minute session per week, plus one 30 minute follow-up session per week (in-person and/or virtual meetings) focusing on strategies, progress, accountability, and planning
Coaching for balancing academic responsibilities with personal life, including effective scheduling and prioritization.
Develop personalized study routines
Guidance for Assignments and Study Guides: Assistance in creating assignment schedules, organizing essays, and developing study guides
Assessment and academic progress monitoring
Technology Recommendations: Personalized recommendations for apps and assistive technology to support executive function skills
On-going support: Available for brief questions and guidance during specified hours, with a response time within 24 hours. Brief questions are those that can be answered in 5-10 minutes. For in-depth discussions or ongoing issues, a single session will be required.

Single Sessions
Pay-per-session coaching to target specific goals with tailored strategies.
A perfect option for those families who are maybe on the right track, but want to reach out and gain some additional support, or for those who want to try a few sessions before committing to a monthly package.
INVESTMENT: $150/Session
One Personalized Coaching Session to identify your student’s goals and obstacles
Provide strategies and tools tailored to 1-2 specific goals
Develop a brief plan for achieving these goals
Availability for Questions and Guidance - Parents and students can reach out up to three times per week between sessions via email and text, with a response time within 24 hours. Additional support beyond this limit, including phone calls or Zoom meetings, will be billed at a rate of $50 per 20 minutes.

ABOUT KRISTEN ALLEN
Kristen Allen has over 20 years of experience working with adolescents facing learning challenges such as ADHD, ASD, Visual and Auditory Processing Disorders, and Dyslexia. As both a teacher and a parent to two daughters—one with ADHD and Dyslexia, and the other with ADHD—her journey to support her children began early.
Kristen specializes in teaching executive function and organizational skills, and she also provides parent coaching, offering behavioral strategies to improve family dynamics and create a healthier home environment.
With her relatable and compassionate approach, Kristen helps even the most resistant clients set new goals, adopt effective strategies, and build confidence. Her areas of focus include time management, personalized organizational systems, goal setting, self-advocacy, stress management, and preparation for life transitions, including college and career readiness. Holding a Master of Education from California State University, Fullerton, Kristen's experience also includes serving as Director of Special Education at an independent school. She uses a creative, thought-provoking process to inspire both students and adults to develop healthy habits, explore solutions, and maximize their potential.
